We introduce "What you Driving" to discuss what car we would drive when listening to a specific song, we get into "Tales from the 3rd World" to discuss our personal ghost stories (boo!). Finally, the mini-series continues and we get into the German vs Japanese battle to decide who wins the reliability award. 

Tales from the Third World is back with Jon and Randy's Crazy Experiences. We debate a potential trade of the E92 M3 for a new Focus RS, we debate who's the better car maker between German and Japanese brands, and finally go Under The Hood for this week's headlines!

We start by talking about the evolution of Jon's Rio. Jon tells us a joke...and THEN we get into the official show. The OC Auto Show is back in our neck of the woods. Jon gives a Lotus the business in his M3 and shops for an old school Chevy Nova?  The Gatekeepers finally make a comeback and discuss whether a person is really a car enthusiast if their car is stock (There are levels to this $#it!) and the Supra already has a recall, but by who?

Randy visits the 15th Japanese Classic Car Show and sits in a Supra. "Who's more likely to" is back to decide which one of us is more likely to deny a return on craigslist. Jon finally sells his wheels on Offerup. Lastly, we go Under the Hood to discuss the comments by Toyota's chief engineer that the next Toyota 86 will be better than the Supra and does Kevin Hart have a case after his car accident?

Jon visits Cars and Coffee meets in OC and South Bay (SoCal) and gets a taste of the vibes at each, he finds out super cars aren't what make a Cars and Coffee a winner. We then talk about getting lovestruck over buying a used car and not always noticing when things aren't up to standard. We cover headlines and the latest in the California exhaust laws and the federal emission standards fight happening. Lastly we talk about bullying in school and society today and how we grew stronger through our experiences despite the sensitivity that bullying is being addressed with at the moment. 

Jon's career as a baller ends before it begins and it turns out the Philippines balls out too. The e92 M3 gets a new exhaust, we argue what is real underground hip hop (Culture, right?), and we help you figure out how to sponsor your race team. Lastly, we talk about the eCigarette ban and Jon's suspicion that its big tobacco flexing their muscle.

Jon Gives Us the Latest on the M3. Porsche is ready with the "Tesla Killer". the Taycan. Will it live up to the hype or will its value will tank in 3 years like the BMW i8? Finally, we end with the final scene in Jon's BMW shop drama.

Our friend Jaime, track coach with NASA racing, comes back on to talk about his project car and pressures Randy to go to the final day of the season. He then helps suggest a modification to our DRO report with a track version called, Pass, Block and Lap. The cars he throws at Jon are the Nissan Murano convertible, the Chevy Cavalier Convertible, and the PT Cruiser Convertible. Lastly, we talk about the NASA Honda Challenge and what it will take to run in the h4 field. 

Randy has to go on a work trip and visits motorcycle dealerships, unsurprisingly, he gets bitten by the motorcycle bug. The DRO (Demolition Derby, Rent, or Own) report returns to talk about the Toyota MR-S, the Chrysler Crossfire, and the Pontiac Solstice (Oh yes, it's a good one). We discuss the possibility of CARB getting the axe and going away, what will that mean for the future? Finally, we need to start planning for SEMA. How are we even going to get there?!

After Jon runs into a douchbag lambo driver, Randy takes the throne as The Street Judge as we decide the correct consequence to road douchbaggery. Randy gets harassed by a high school teenager, Jon gets coaxed into running the M against a mustang, and can you believe an entitled ass kid destroys a brand new BMW M3 because he didn't get a Jaguar. First of all, a Jaguar?! We wrap with the newly unveiled Acura Type S, Type Sexy if you ask us!

It's time for a new adventure! The ninetyoneoctane crew is going to SEMA, will we see you there?? The prelude takes Randy on a frustrating, 5-day, suspension quest and Jon removed his SSR performance decals after getting 3 strikes with the famed shop!

Jon finally sells the 335i, oh how bittersweet. This means the ebay track car project can begin! Is there potential for two project cars here? Randy finally has Koni suspension upgrades after what seems like decades of talk. Finally, did you know that there are places in this world that has made it illegal to work on your car? We like to call it hell but others call it Sacramento, CA!

Randy and Jon start the episode discussing how cars can make us feel old. We get updates on the Prelude and where Randy's purchases have all gone. Jon gives all the updates on all the Drama with the Rio, the state M3, and the pending sale of the 335i. A bmw performance shop slaps their decals on Jon's M3 without asking and loses his rod bearings. The guys also mention an idea for a race project and the concept of making it an eBay car. 

Our guest this week is lead exterior designer of Faraday Future (@faradayfuture), Hanbin Youn. Han comes in to talk about his personal car designs for the E92 M3, as well as, the C7 Corvette Stingray. We discuss his most notable work, the Faraday Future FFZero1. Donnie is a developer and founder of bridgebelow.com and knowmoto.com. He comes with us to talk about some of his car history with Ford mustangs and his old rock crawler wrangler. We then discuss his company bridgebelow and how he leveraged technology to help him build a business verifying online parts prices for major aftermarket companies such as Magnaflow and Exedy. Lastly, we get into his new project, KnowMoto which will be launching some time before SEMA 2019. 

Starbucks messes up recording day for Jon. Randy shares that he's pulled the "let me speak to a manager" card a few times and they debate on when to pull that card, if ever. They then discuss the status of Randy's chase for an MR2. Randy talks about the beauty of cars and why he personifies cars in the female form. Jon and Randy then talk financials and how they make sure everything is in place before buying a hobby/toy car. The challenges Randy faces include spending time with his kids which he tries his best to explain. 

Randy's lame ass doesn't buy shit and is back in limbo with his project car. Jon's M3 vision is well under way with mods already purchased. Under the Hood is back with headlines that include the latest horsepower numbers on the Shelby Cobra Mustang and cars that are most likely to get people in your dating profile DMs!

Randy gives us an update on the Civic SI and the MR2s he's chasing (They seem to be multiplying!). Jon's Dakar Yellow M3 saga continues and leads him on a chase, no, a quest but after striking out 2 times, will he be out on his third shot?

Randy talks about his opportunity to relive an old fling and buy back his old civic SI and also goes cross country to chase an Mr2 Turbo. Jon stumbled into his dream e92 M3 way sooner than he was hoping and it could be time to make some moves. What will become of the Prelude? The 335i?! Will this story have a happy ending!?

Randy rents a Dodge Challenger with a Hemi in Portland, explains the ins and outs of Suzuki's shop as well as their team day where he got to meet a former MotoGP rider and current Yoshimura Suzuki race team member @tonielias and @joshherrin, and has a run in with his much desired Celica Alltrac. Jon explains the extremes he experienced doing his Ricky Bobby impression at 114mph in the Kia Rio at Fontana's AutoClub Speedway and not going to Bimmerfest due to failures with the 335i.

North Dakota and Georgia finally legalize pot, is it time it goes federal? Randy now works at Suzuki and finds more ways to bail on our track days. Jon continues work on the 335i project, the studio gets a new door, and Franco joins us cause (we presume) he has nothing better to do!

Randy loses all his podcast hardware and has to figure out the audio. Jon finally gets the BMW 335i running and drives it to the studio. Jon won't stop the peer pressure as Randy still mulls over taking the Prelude to the track (Just take the odyssey, Randy!). We cover headlines where we find out a Lamborghini is offered for drivers ed and someone stole $124,000 worth of wheels in Louisiana.

Jon decides to get a new steering wheel after bricking his 335i (It's only temporary...). Randy is considering tracking his odyssey, mostly cause the prelude is leaking. We also get into exploding teslas, BMW and blockchain mileage apps, replacing broken shifters with a rubber mallet, and are flying cars the future of motorsport?

Jon's guitar mods and how they're his first love and cars are his second, The D.R.O. Report is back with the Ferrari Testarossa, Lamborghini Diablo, and KITT from Knight Rider. The Hyundai N line of cars like the Veloster N and the Sonata N seem to conjure thoughts of BMW's M division and we seem to have made some progress convincing Randy to go to the track!

Randy get's harassed by granny and Jon recounts a time when he saw a truck lose their brakes on the freeway. Hyundai is stealing everyone's performance engineers, EV production cars that are faster than F1 cars, self-racing cars, and the Mid-Engine Corvette is finally here!

Two cars spent 2 hours fighting for a parking spot in LA, we track instagrams top 30 cars by mentions, Toyota releases their hybrid patents for everyone to use, the 2019 Altima out skids the new BMW 3-series, and we remember our first craigslist buys!

Jon has a table full of car parts and no plans to get to work, EV cars come with exhaust (WTF?), a Kia Rio gets caught smuggling cocaine, and what car would be best for a bank heist? Also, how far away are we from self-drifting cars?
