LOS ANGELES—Sponsorships are essential for drivers striving to keep their engines running and their dreams alive. Surprisingly, a staggering 99.99% of these car enthusiasts are sponsored by credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, with some even receiving support from AutoZone Rewards.

These unconventional sponsorship deals cover the costs of parts and cars, with one simple stipulation: drivers must pay their balances in full within 30 to 45 days. This arrangement has allowed many drivers to continue pursuing their passion without the financial strain typically associated with cars.

James Thompson, a grassroots racer from Ohio, shared his experience: "It's a unique setup, for sure. Visa and Mastercard have been lifesavers for me. As long as I manage my payments well, I get to keep racing. It's like having a silent partner who only asks for timely payments."

In addition to credit card sponsorships, some drivers are fortunate enough to secure deals with major companies. These arrangements require the drivers to take on responsibilities during regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. In return, the rewards are deposited into their bank accounts twice a month, with no strings attached.

Rachel Hernandez, who balances her racing career with a marketing job at a tech firm, explained, "It's the best of both worlds. I get to race on weekends and still have financial security during the week. The company understands my passion and supports me, which is incredible."

Even those benefiting from AutoZone Rewards appreciate the flexibility these programs offer. "AutoZone Rewards might not cover everything, but every bit helps," said Mike Wallace, a grassroots driver from Texas. "I use the points for parts and supplies, and it adds up over time. It's a game-changer for us small-time racers."

In a world where funding can make or break a career, these unique sponsorship arrangements are keeping the dreams of car enthusiasts alive, one payment at a time.
