AI Declared Ready for Formula 1 by Its Rich Dad
June 20, 2024

"...these Formula 1 teams just need to trust my wallet."

ABU DHABI—The world of Formula 1 has been shaken by the announcement that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is ready to compete at the highest level of motorsport. This declaration comes from none other than AI's affluent father, who has really really reallllly deep pockets.

"AI has been training with the best simulators money can buy," said AI's father, who prefers to remain unnamed. "We've invested in cutting-edge technology and hired top-notch engineers to ensure AI's success on the track. Basically I've wasted so much money on this kid, It's time a team takes him. It's easier to just give them my money."

Critics argue that AI's journey to Formula 1 has been paved with gold. "It's easy to declare someone ready for F1 from a pool full of money," remarked a veteran racing analyst. "AI's father has undoubtedly bought its way into the sport, bypassing the traditional path that requires drivers to prove themselves through sheer talent and perseverance."

AI's father, however, dismisses these concerns, emphasizing the advanced capabilities and rigorous training AI has undergone. "AI is not just another driver; it's a technological marvel. Its decision-making process is faster than any human's, and its reaction time is unparalleled. They look slow but that’s only to the untrained eye, these Formula 1 teams just need to trust my wallet," he stated confidently.

Despite these assurances, some within the racing community remain skeptical. "Racing is about human skill and determination," said former F1 champion, Villeneuve. "Introducing AI, especially one that was so slow at that Abu Dhabi race, could undermine the spirit of the sport. It's not just about the money; it's about the passion and the struggle of rich humans."

The perception that AI's father is more interested in the prestige and social status associated with having a child in Formula 1 further fuels the controversy. "There's a growing concern that AI hasn't faced the same challenges as other drivers," commented another analyst. "It's like its father is more focused on the networking opportunities and the glamor rather than a genuine passion for motorsport."

Well that was easy, before we finished this article we received notice that AI got a seat and is preparing to make its debut, all eyes will be on the racetrack to see if this high-tech prodigy can live up to Formula 1's lofty expectations. Whether it succeeds or falters, AI's entry into Formula 1 is sure to spark intense debate and possibly reshape the future of motorsport.
