"...we’re encouraging people of all ages with zero abilities to join in the fun."

LAGUNA HILLS—A new generation of races is emerging where competition takes a back seat to fun! These events have eliminated traditional timers and guarantee a trophy for every driver. The concept, pioneered by the millennial initiative, aims to make racing more appealing to everyone, regardless of how much they suck.
Instead of focusing on who crosses the finish line first, these races celebrate the simple joy of trying your best. “We wanted to create an environment where everyone feels like a winner,” said event organizer Sarah Jennings. “Racing has always been about who’s the fastest, but we believe there’s more to it than that. By removing the pressure of unnecessary competition, we’re encouraging people of all ages with zero abilities to join in the fun.”
The response to this new racing format has been mixed. Some embrace the idea, appreciating the opportunity to race without the stress of losing. “I’ve never felt confident in a race,” said ex-last place racer Alex Moore. “This event was perfect for me. I got to experience the thrill of racing without worrying about finishing last. And getting a trophy was the cherry on top!”
However, not everyone is on board with the changes. “That's not racing,” argued veteran racer Tyler Harris. “Drivers that suck should be told they suck. If you give everyone trophies they will all think they deserve happiness!”
Despite the criticism, the Millenial initiative continues to grow in popularity, attracting bad drivers who might have otherwise never considered racing. It’s clear that the focus is shifting towards creating a more enjoyable experience for all, that was actually started by boomers.
