"...a major breakthrough for the BMW community."

HAWTHORNE—Chaos struck during rush hour on the 405 when local BMW driver Ryan Delgado came face-to-face with a mysterious green arrow on his dashboard, leaving him utterly baffled and slightly unnerved.
“I’ve owned three BMWs, and I swear I’ve never seen anything like this before,” Delgado said, recounting the traumatic experience. “At first, I thought it was the gas tank indicator or maybe a warning about a crappy driver to my left. But it kept blinking at me, so I had to pull over. Freaky stuff.”
The green arrow, as many BMW drivers know, is a mystery to everyone. Witnesses claim Delgado spent over 20 minutes Googling “weird green arrow in BMW,” only to get sidetracked by ads for carbon fiber license plate frames.
Traffic expert Linda Martinez weighed in on the incident. “He's a BMW driver? That tracks. It's all but proven that they are allergic to the notoriously underutilized turn signals,” she explained. “Some even believe they’re optional extras, like heated seats or adaptive cruise control. The fact that Mr. Delgado discovered his turn signal even exists is a major breakthrough for the BMW community.”
Delgado, however, remains unconvinced. “I don’t see the point,” he said, shrugging. “If I want to change lanes, I just do it. Why bother announcing it? The arrow doesn’t even match the aesthetic of the car—kind of ruins the vibe of my steering wheel.”
As news of the incident spread, BMW owners across the country reportedly began covering their dashboards with black electrical tape to avoid similar confusion.
“BMWs are meant to be driven, not overanalyzed,” said fellow driver Chad Hamilton. “If I wanted my car to tell me what to do, I’d buy a CyberTruck.”
The green arrow saga continues to spark debate online, proving once again that for some drivers, progress blinks just out of reach..
